Tis the Season...

So it is the crazy time of year again! Why, oh why, do I love this time of year but at the same time dread it every time it comes around??

I love to make fun of Greg setting up and putting the light on the tree; watching the kids decorate it is always SO much fun. I also love to decorate the house. Greg gets all his outside light up and they always look so wonderful... who wouldn't be happy for this time of year.

Now onto the part that I dread... SHOPPING! SHOPPING!! Maybe it is just a little harder this year with the economy and the fact we are trying to do it all with out the help of credit cards. Plus- I always tell myself I am going to cut some people off my list and yet I never do. Now that T-Man is in school, I feel like I have added a couple of people. I started later this year so of course I am scrambling to find gifts for people where last year at this time, I was done by now and wrapping gifts were almost done. For goodness sake, I haven't even finished my Christmas cards. I have to work my part time job this week and Saturday and then we are on break for 2 weeks so I plan on spending Monday and Tuesday finishing the shopping and wrapping. I might even be one of those folks out Christmas Eve trying to find that last minute gift.
