Democracy...

We had a meeting tonight for our townhome association. It is our annual meeting that all the residents/home owners are invited to attend. Last year we had issues with 2 of our residents that had to complain about the kids playing in the drive. So all the residents didn't stand up for ourselves and say too bad. We have now dealt with all their complaining for a year. The board (which I am on) was prepared to deal with this situatuion tonight. We were ready and had all our comebacks to deal with this troublemaker....

We get over to the location and guess what?? THEY DON'T SHOW!!! We made a motion to take care of some things and now it is going to a vote. I am sure the trouble maker is going to be a pain in the butt about it. I love that the first ones to complain are always the last to help out in anyway. They just want to sit back and be the first to bitch about everything that is wrong.



OK on to fun notes: Here are some pictures from the birthday party a couple of weekends ago. It was a ton of fun and everyone looks great in their WILD gear. We are a hockey family! Addy got some great things and Sarah was pretty excited to get her cell phone (even though she can not bring it home to her Mom's yet). Greg and his Dad loved all their funny cards. Have to say I am glad that it is over... On to Halloween...Thanksgiving... and then of course Christmas.
